Tamale North NDC Youth Organiser, Mohammed Alidu has reacted to the recent increase in petroleum prices in the country.
Mr Alidu blamed the government for the recent hikes in petroleum prices, claiming that the product is subjected to unnecessary taxes.
He however, asked the country’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia if the “so-called digitization agenda” he is promoting could reduce the country’s fuel prices.
Mr. Alidu made the remarks on Justice FM’s Super Morning Show, hosted by Mumuni Yirifa Yunus, following the decision of some Ghanaian driver unions to go on a sit-down strike if the government does not reduce fuel prices by Thursday November, 11.
