Ghana could become an Islamic State if Ghana recognizes the rights of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgender and Queer plus (LGBTQ+) , thus according to the President of the Catholic Bishops Conference.
Archbishop Philip Naameh said with the LGBTQ+ community largely made up of Christians, the population of Christians will reduce drastically in a few years time if homosexuality is recognized as a human right in Ghana.
He explained that because homosexuals will most likely be Christians, they will not be able to procreate, thereby reducing the population of Christians whiles Muslims will continue to procreate, growing more in numbers over the same period.
“Those promoting gays and lesbians are not going to have children at all, and within a short time nobody should be surprised that Muslims will become a majority in this country and declare it an Islamic State” Archbishop Philip Naameh told American broadcaster, CNN.
He was speaking in support of an anti-homosexuality bill currently before Parliament for consideration.
