Students at Yuni Primary School in the Kumbungu District have seen a ray of hope as the MP for the area, Dr. Adam Hamza has begun work to renovate the community’s only school building.
The school was closed down in 2018, after a rainstorm ripped off the roof of the entire school.
After three years of its closure, school activities is set to resume by the beginning of the next academic year in January, 2022, following the intervention of the MP.
Dr. Hamza tells Justicefmonline that the tragic incident was brought to his attention when he visited the community during the election season.
“I visited the community last year during the electioneering period and when I was informed of their plight, I assured them that the facility would get a befitting facelift as soon as possible” the MP stated
Residents of the community and some teachers of the School thanked the member of parliament for coming to their aid.
