Speaking in an interview with Justicefmonline after a short ceremony to hand over the items to the students at Banvum, a suburb of Tamale on Friday, President of the Iddrisu Haruna Fan Club, Jomo Rufai said buses will be stationed at vantage locations in the constituency to convey the candidates to and fro their respective examination centers.
“The MP has organised four buses for four routes to convey the candidates to and from their respective examination centers because our constituency is mainly a rural constituency ” he said.
He added that “This time the hardship is unbearable, so the honorable man has seen it necessary to ease burden from parents just to help the communities and to urge the students to do their best”.
Deputy Organizer of the Fan club, Alhaji Mashud Abiola said the presentation is in fulfillment of the MP’s pledge to support BECE candidates every year.
Alhaji Abiola appealed to the students to eschew all forms of examination malpractices to avoid embarrassing the constituency.
Head Teacher of Dalogu-yili JHS, Fuseini Bawa who spoke on behalf of the schools, commended the MP for his continued support of schools in the area.
He appealed to the students to replicate the kind gesture by studying to pass the examination.
